Well2’s range of natural and organic products was developed by Karen Martin. Karen is Director and practicing naturopath at Well2, and has specialized women’s health for more than 20 years.

Remedial Therapies, BTeach (Adult Education), MDEd	“As a naturopath treating women’s health problems for more than 20 years, I was well aware of the growing concern with chemicals in beauty products, skin creams and other products. Everyday products that people apply to their bodies can contain chemicals that are suspected of causing health problems. These chemicals range from the endocrine disruptors like phthalates (these mimic estrogen in the body and are suspected of contributing to hormonal disorders in women and decreased fertility in both men and women) to artificial preservatives like parabens (which have been found in breast cancer tumors) through to petrochemicals like petroleum jelly and mineral oils, as well as artificial colours and dyes. Chemicals that are bad for us, and bad for the environment. Over the years my clients have asked me to recommend products safe for them to use and I have spent many hundreds of hours researching this area for them. The question has always been difficult to answer, and the problems multiple. Many products which claim to be ‘natural’ don’t easily disclose their ingredients, or contain ingredients which are anything but. Green-washing, a term used where products claim to be natural but also contain many artificial ingredients, is also a common practice. On top of that, many truly ‘natural’ products fail to deliver on performance, leaving the user disappointed. Faced with all of this, I decided to develop our own range of products. Exceptional quality products which would deliver on ingredients and on performance. Our products are all proudly made in Australia using all natural, certified organic ingredients, free from animal products and without animal testing. Our products are vegan friendly and are accredited by Choose Cruelty Free (CCF).
